Nick received numerous accolades throughout his multi-faceted career, including the 2007 International Instrumental Artist of the Year Award at the Wave Jazz Awards, where he succeeded 2006 winner Chris Botti. He was also chosen Artist of the Year at the 2011 Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival and Performer of the Year for Jazz Trax Jazz Festivals in 2010 and 2011.

'The Journey' set the Billboard record for most consecutive number 1's, 5 singles in total including 'Say Whats On Your Mind' & Morning Call. This feat had never been accomplished before in Smooth Jazz and carries to this day.

'Just Like That', Nicks 6th and final album with Trippin N Rhythm was released posthumously after Nicks sad and sudden passing shortly after recording.

The best dressed and most dynamic of performers in any genre, Nick was born to be on the stage and connecting with people. Nobody could move an audience like he did. A career that was nothing short of historic.

Rest Well Cat.
